What this service is

TimeCardBook is software. We are the vendor: you buy the subscription from Ellul Solutions Ltd directly, and there is no third party between us. We introduce you to nobody, we sell your details to nobody, and we take no commission from anyone for sending you anywhere. We aim to keep the service available at all times and to keep your data recoverable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If we plan work that will take the service offline we tell subscribers first. You can export your employees, pay periods and timesheets at any time while your subscription is active and for 90 days after it ends.

How we are paid

You pay us, and that is the whole of how this business is funded: a monthly subscription to TimeCardBook Pro, sold to businesses. Nothing on this site is an advertisement we are paid for, and no figure or recommendation here is influenced by a commission, because there is none. Price, renewal date and cancellation route are shown before you pay and stated again in your account. Purchase is offered to people acting for purposes related to their trade or profession. Where a consumer nonetheless buys, the statutory cancellation and digital content rights are honoured in full rather than excluded.

Online payments. When you connect your own Stripe account and take a payment through a pay link, TimeCardBook charges a platform fee of 1% of that payment, in addition to Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe deducts both from the payment before it is paid out to you; TimeCardBook never holds your customers' money. The rate that applies is the one shown in your account on the day the pay link is created, and a change to it applies only to links created afterwards.

The free tools

The free tools on this site are provided as working tools for employers and crews paid by the hour. Their output is arithmetic on the figures you enter. They do not tell you what overtime rule applies in your state, they do not file payroll, and they are not a record of hours until you save them under your own name.

No warranty

Nothing on this site is legal, tax or payroll advice. Whether an employee is exempt from overtime, whether your state adds a daily overtime rule to the federal weekly one, and how long your state requires time records to be kept are questions for your state and your own adviser. Timesheet and time card templates are starting points, not a payroll system of record.
